HAPS micro-grants range from $50 to $250. That is the whole ask — enough to buy the first stock, tools, or livestock for an entrepreneur who has already finished their training.
We don’t just give a handout. We help someone start.
Where a micro-grant goes
Every recipient completes HAPS Business School first. Training is what makes the money work — a grant is not dropped on someone who was never taught to run the business.
- $50Feed for a first flock of chickens, or the seed and starter stock for a garden plot.
- $100Inventory for a produce stand or a market table, plus the first month of savings.
- $250A food cart, a washing service setup, or livestock that produces income for years.
What your gift does not buy: a salary, a building, or a handout that ends.
It buys a start. The entrepreneur owns the business and runs it, with a Local Hope Ambassador checking in and reporting progress.
